This is a mockup I made for a contest at Swedish videogame forum Cowabunga. I know that Faxanadu is a Legend of Xanadu/ Dragon Slayer spinoff, but I´ve always wanted a proper sequel to the NES game.

totally agreed, and I would love to see a remake or a sequel, this was one of the best games on the NES hands down

Faxanadu was an amazing game. Its music is probably the best part.
An often underrated NES-masterpiece.

Awesome! Faxanadu was one of my favourite games as a kid. I would love to play a sequel, and your "Root of Evil" idea fits in really well with the whole World Tree setting.
